On Saturday, March 12, 2016, members of the December Birthmonth club prepared and served brunch for the guest and residents of the Ronald McDonald House on Gatewood Road in Atlanta. As family meal program volunteers, December babies prepared a good old fashioned meal complete with beverages and desserts. After serving the residents, December members shared some time and fellowship with the families. Some asked for prayer and while others simply wanted to share their story. Families at the Ronald McDonald House reside at the facilities as while they deal with children and loved ones who are in the hospital for serious illness and rare diseases. ARMH expressed their appreciation and gratitude for all of the December babies who made the generous gift of providing a meal possible. Catherine Lem, Director of volunteer services says, “This makes it possible for ARMHC to best serve their families coming home from the hospital to a freshly prepared meal made by people who care.”
